Rodney,

I happened to come across CMD while on youtube searching for dirty boxing techniques. I saw Rodney demonstrating the straight jacket clinch and realized that I spent the next 30 minutes watching his other videos as well. I had boxed in college for a bit and off and on recreationally last year. But seeing the crisp execution of the drills and the application to realistic fighting lit a brand new fire in me. So I’m taking it up again with fresh new eyes!

I have seen a lot of guys say they can make mice into men with their “cutting edge” techniques but what attracted me to CMD was the laid back and motivational approach you had to martial arts-the perspective that your way wasn’t the “only way” but rather a different perspective to achieve the same results most martial arts are trying to get. That showed me a man confident enough to back his shit up with legitimacy!

Definitely looking forward to attending any seminars you’ll be having in the Northeast in 2010, and possibly becoming a trainer as well. And as a future action star, it would be cool to showcase some CMD on film:)

Keep up the good work and continue inspiring others to push through their physical and mental limits.
